Shibari is not a technique.
It is a language — one that speaks through tension, touch and presence.
1:1 Solo Session — Experience Shibari.
Come simply to be tied and held by Dan. Nothing to perform, nothing to master. A private reset in rope: stillness, presence, being held.
— or —
Couples Session — guided tuition / date night.
Experience your first Shibari session together, with each other. Dan guides you hands-on how to tie, how to be tied and building trust, polarity, and connection between you. Part date, part learning; you leave with something you can keep exploring at home.
Riggers wanting to refine flow, aesthetics and craft can also book focused private tuition — just tell us your goal.
The invitation
Are you ready to meet yourself — or each other — through rope, with more presence, depth, and stillness?
Slowness and intensity, held in a private space entirely your own, where the noise of the city falls away and the mind is allowed to go quiet.
What to expect
Experience Shibari as a conscious, embodied practice in presence, inner stillness, and connection over performance. The intensity is yours to choose, from soft and meditative to stronger, more challenging sensation.
You'll be held, supported, and guided at a pace that fits your body and intentions. An opportunity to let the mind go quiet and simply feel.
No previous experience required.
Arrival & intentions (20–30 min) — arrive, tea, a short check-in, boundaries & what you're looking for
The tying (≈ 2 h) — slow, intuitive, body-aware; tailored to you
Integration (20–30 min) — a gentle landing, water, a short debrief
You'll leave feeling calmer, more present, and more connected — to yourself or to each other.
Who is this for
Individuals seeking stillness and presence, a place where the mind goes quiet, the body softens, and the noise of the city falls away. Being held in ropes as a deep reset, not a performance.
Couples / duos wishing to deepen intimacy, trust and communication through a stronger sense of polarity.
Riggers seeking refinement, flow, and aesthetic clarity (tuition)
First-timers who want a safe, private, and personal first experience, curious about the relaxing and meditative qualities of conscious rope.
No experience needed. What matters is curiosity and a willingness to be present.
“I approach Shibari as a living practice rather than a fixed technique. Whether I tie you or teach you, the focus is on intimacy, presence, and meaningful communication through the rope — this is what I call the art of Shibari with intention.
For me, the essence of Shibari lies in the relationship between aesthetic expression and emotional, sensual intention. Rope becomes a way to respond to the body, to hold and stabilise emotional states, so sensations and feelings can surface and settle.
My style is minimalistic, mostly floor-based, and guided by breath and presence. Working close to the body, every rope has a clear purpose — to shape, transform, and create sensation — so the tying evolves as an intimate, organic process rather than a fixed design. My work is rooted in Aibunawa (愛撫縄), the tender, caressing rope.”
The space
Step off the street in Berlin-Mitte and the noise falls away. Inside is a quiet, Japanese-inspired room: we tie on original tatami mats, in candlelight, wrapped in a soft, intense soundscape. The scent of the space, the sound of rope moving over the tatami, every detail is arranged to let you drop out of the hectic city and back into your own body.
For the length of your session, the room is yours alone. A place of calm and quiet strength, held exclusively for you. An invitation to slow down, exhale, and let go.
In a city that never slows down, the rarest luxury isn't time — it's presence.
